Self Employment Support Scheme

Updated: Aug 25, 2020

As of today (17th August 2020) the government have opened the support scheme for those who are eligible to claim for the Self Employment Support Scheme. You can claim any time between 17th August - 19th October 2020.

Eligibility remains the same as the first grant that was opened, so long as your business has been adversely effected since 14th July 2020 - this meaning that you have experienced lower income or higher costs because of the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.

This grant is worth 70% of your average monthly trading profits, a reduction from the first grant which was 80%, this will be paid as one instalment and based on 3 months worth of trading profits, capped at £6,500.
